“Have I been looking for the keys to an open doors?” is a line from song lyrics, from handwritten and then photographed letters exchanged by email between Anna Egle and a friend in the United States. The doors, as a portal of mythic imagery. Opening them reveals that both panels are each like a separate poetry book, with two covers. On one side, poetry written by the author, and on the other side, writing from a friend on another continent.
