Everything could change with a blink of the heart. Every living creature carries within it a pulse, a primal force – a truth that guides life. The heart is not only the foundation of life, but could also be called the organ of feelings, the center of intuition. It connects two principles – truth, life, and what lies in between. Similarly, the sculpture is created in three parts.In the lower part of the sculpture, I wanted to embody vision, eyes, revelation – “seeing,” which continues, guiding it upwards through three legs, concentrating and culminating in a symbolic representation of the heart at the top. Similar to a tree whose trunk connects the roots with the foliage. This work is conceived as a continuation of my explorations of form, light, and shadow in sculpture, which began in 2024 with the three-legged sculpture series “Trejdeviņi” (Nine Times Three)
Here a sentence, a thought that fits well - (text in the original language): ”We often say
that things can change in the blink of an eye—now let us acknowledge that everything could change in a blink of the heart.” (TNMC Annals 48, Tarthang Tulku Rinpoche)

“The heart is eyes.”
With lashes, eyes are touching the ground,
Like a path,
Revealing itself as it’s walked.
A saddened boy,
A slow traveler of his own path,
Going through a darkened garden towards dawn.
And dawn itself is like eyes;
It possesses such power
That makes me happy.
If now the legs, touching upwards from the ground,
Open with an upward blink,
From all of the heart,
The world joins hands,
And the underworld, too.
